Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Last week we found ourselves facing the prospect of the end of American Civilization as we know it.

But we still thought there might be hope in 2016.

This week all hope is gone.

We now find ourselves facing the end of American Civilization…

About Necessary and Proper

Jeff believes in the Individual's ability to excel when liberty and freedom of choice are protected. Also believes in the Community's ability to take care of the vast majority of its own issues and needs when the federal government leaves the Community's resources and sphere of control alone. State and local choice produce better results than centralized federal control. https://necessaryandpropergovt.wordpress.com/

  3. Way to put a hilarious spin on a very sad event, Jeff. It’s a sad day when unions can kill a business so big it provides 18,500 jobs, but that’s the America in which we now live.

Well, just EVERYBODY just KNOWS that Hostess is just doing this to be mean to the sweet, little bakers’ union, don’t they?

The fact is that Hostess is already in its third recent bankruptcy and was trying to save the company and its employees’ jobs by finding a way to keep the doors open but the bakers’ union wouldn’t go along, so now everyone loses their job and the country possibly loses iconic sweet treats.

This proves once again that, while they once were necessary and did help workers get better working conditions and pay, unions are now anachronistic and greedy organizations which, in this age of independent negotiators, arbitrators and government regulations to protect workers, are no longer needed, as they only do “good” for their union bosses, their union members and whatever political candidates those union bosses want to support with union dues money.

I hope Hostess can sell off its iconic sweet treats to others as part of its bankruptcy proceedings, so all is not lost.
